My boss praised my work today

 

I made a new friend last week, and I said hi to a friend I hadn't been able to hang out with in a while yesterday. No, they were not human.

 

I finally found some test strips for my meter.

 

Managed my blood pressure, and found two jobs to apply for.

 

Hung out with former coworkers who I hadn't seen since the pandemic. Ate way too much and thankfully had the money to pay for it.

 

I got a tax refund check in the mail today! Total surprise.

 

Got to say hi to some of the horses from my bike rides that I haven't seen months, including one of my favorites, who's super friendly and has even given me hugs a few times.

 

At 3 this morning, I was STILL ASLEEP.

 

I received my application form for inclusion on the Birdstaking 2023 poster ^v^

 

It wasn't something good that happpened to me, but I did do something good, I donated to some of my favorite animal sanctuaries for Giving Tuesday today.

As a long time desert dwelling I must ask that is this snow you speak of? I think I have vague memories of something with that name, but it's been so long I don't remember it.

In all honestly, we actually have gotten snow here 2 or 3 times in the 20+ years I've lived in Arizona, but it was a tiny bit and I don't think it even reached the ground.

 

Got 2 months of free Spotify.

 

Past progress inspection for our house building so don't have to complete permits again.

 

I've only ever seen snow in Japan at the Nagano Monkey Park in 2007.
