Supernatural is fantastic!

I love Castiel, he's my favorite character. It's a really great performance from the actor; the gravelly voice, the blank dead pan expression, it just really works. I was so happy that he was a series regular in Season 5, and so disappointed when he wasn't in S6.

I just realized something.... Do angels have souls? (are they composed of pure soul)

Cas might not have all the advantages a regular mortal would when it comes to the friendship game lol.

Misha Collins is a series regular in seasons 5 & 6. He gets above the line credit the same as Jensen and Jared.

He is no longer a guest star, like the Jim Beaver, who plays Bobby.

And yes, Misha has done a wonderfully job with his role.

I have no idea if Angels have a soul, I would assume something similar as that is what would inhabit their hosts when they take them.

Castiel will be featured more heavily in the second half of season six, Mr. Light, per his portrayer. Collins' wife was nine months pregnant when filming started. They don't live in Vancouver year round, apparently, (or she doesn't) so he had to be ready to leave at a moment's notice. His sparse appearances were dictated by real life circumstances.

Good to know that Cas will be back in the back half of season 6!

I was afraid they didn't have a story reason to involve him anymore.

When you watch "Yellow Fever" make sure to see the ending. Dean's rendition of "Eye of the Tiger" is attached to the end after the normal ending.

My wife and I only found out about Supernatural last year (didn't watch tv for several years) but we rapidly caught up. We really enjoy it. Sometimes the way that the writers pit the brothers against each other is rather irritating, but it hasn't been enough to make us quit on it.

Season 6....Sammy without his soul kind of makes us wish Dean would turn the Impala down the yellow brick road. :p

I'm working on a story idea that I hope to flesh out into novel length. Frankie Winchester is Dean and Sammy's older brother, born on May 11, 1974, in an alternate universe. Over there, John and Mary named their three sons after The Rat Pack. I was inspired by the 4th season episode "In The Beginning," which is one of my favorites.

They should not have killed off John as quickly as they did. :klingon:
