Seriously, when is Lori Lemaris going to get some live-action love. Umpteen SUPERMAN movies and TV series and she gets skipped over every time. Heck, SMALLVILLE runs ten seasons, including Clark's college years, and they can't even squeeze Lori into one ep?
What's the issue here? A flying space alien is fine, but somehow giving him mermaid girlriend is too silly?
I imagine any attempt to adapt Lemaris would generate a universe of fan dialogue..you can guess which direction that would take.

They already have. As JD mentioned, Atlantis has been repeatedly referenced in The Flash over the years -- first as an Earth-2 location in the early seasons, and post-Crisis as an Earth-Prime location (one which Cisco visited for a while to account for Carlos Valdez missing a few episodes).
Aside from the Lois parts, what else in this show is not grabbing you?
Funny. The Lois at work parts are about the only stuff I don't FF through.
