It is damned time we see a great version of Brainiac. The character is Superman's number 2 nemesis and we've never had a decent live on screen version.

As for Luthor, the last few decades (both on screen in Smallville and in the comics) have shown the character works best as a foil for Superman rather than an outright villain. The last attempt to make him a full villain during the lead up to Death Metal was contrived and came out of left field in the comics continuity. (I blame editorial for that.) Luthor works great as a character who is driven by his own ego and his own motivations and desires, but who is not an outright villain. To me, he is a member of Clark/Kal's supporting cast. On screen, I would love to see Houlton return as Lex in that capacity.

Here’s a fun item: Corenswet’s Superman audition (one of them, anyway). It contains what is presumably an early version of the interview with Lois; the dialogue is almost entirely different, and it seems to me a little more comedic. It’s also considerably shorter, unless it was cut down for audition purposes. I’m linking it because it’s one of those YouTube videos where embedding is disabled.

ETA: Except the forum software displayed the link as an attempted embed anyway. Obviously, you can just click through to see it.

I barely remember watching that series. It seems to me that Brainiac was well done--but that wasn't a Superman show.

Animated Brainiac on Harley Quinn was fabulous, but you said Live Action. :(

CW Brainiac 8, looks a lot like Smallville's Supergirl. ;)

That was a fantastic featurette. Really digs into the uniqueness of the Justice Gang and its weird (for the better) members.

While I knew about Anthony Carrigan's alopecia, I don't think I knew Christopher Reeve also had it (or if I did, I forgot because of my shitty memory). I love that Carrigan connected with Reeve in that way and now he's in his own Superman film. :D

Didn't know that about Reeve, either. I don't think that was in the recent documentary. But, I presume, this would fit him going bald in his last few years.
Anyway, I also love that during the interview portions Carrigan is wearing a shirt with the periodic table on it.
