The problem is that whole markets have decided that Superheroes (with exceptions like Spidey) ard over - it puts a hard celling on box office.
Is it really superhero fatigue or cinema fatigue? I think lots of people have just fallen out of the habit of cinema since Covid and streaming. Look at how the last 2 Mission: Impossible films underperformed.

There's a YouTube channel called Bankrupt, that explores the rise and fall of popular stores/restaurants, etc.; and the number of businesses that have closed since Covid is staggering. It's going to take decades, if ever, to return to a pre-Covid business model. Theaters/movies are just one part of it.
Couldn't find a channel called Bankruput - Would it be this playlist called Bankrupt on Bright Sun Films channel?

Before this latest Superman, I hadn't been to a theater since The Batman which was in 2022. After experiencing how much it cost for tickets, popcorn and soda it will be awhile before I do it again after I see F4. Prices are beyond insane and they are nuts if they think audience numbers will go back to pre covid with those sky high prices. Is it really superhero fatigue or cinema fatigue? I wouldn't expect to see it on VOD until after the summer season has passed. It should still be in theatres for awhile yet, and may outlast the Fantastic Four.
