His style gets old fast though, the constant slow motion action scenes soon start to grate and please keep him away from the writers room - Rebel Moon was just complete shit ( didn't even make it through the whole movie and i would have been pissed if i had paid money to see it).

I think this gets to the heart of it

Clearly, I hit the wrong link. Geeks and Gamers is just as much of a piece of despicable trash as Nerdrotic and equally worthy of avoiding all cost. Anyone who uses the word "woke" as a pejorative is trash and a person not worth taking seriously as an adult on any level.

It's almost as bad as Abrams' Lensflare fetish.

For some reason it didn't bother me as much when i saw his Star Trek the first time, now it's extremely distracting.

Sadly I think some of the people on right see the fact that movie shows Superman as a kind person who helps other as an attack on them, since they absolutely hate that kind of thing.
And I know some people have seen the whole Boravia/Jarhanpur as an analogy for Isreal and Gaza, but Gunn has said that it was not, and that he actually wrote it before the current conflict in Gaza had even started.

Yeah, you could figure that out from known dates.

Some positive news. Superman (2025) is prompting a surge of viewership for Superman 1978, Man of Steel and Peacemake on HBOMax. On sites like Fandango, MOS and Snyder’s other movies are trending towards the top of current Most Watched films. After ZSJL, it’s Aquaman, The Batman (2022), The Dark Knight, Aquaman 2, Justice League (2017), Superman (1978), League of Superpets and The Flash (2023). Fatigue is setting in but there is still an audience out there.
