I think that Netflix's international distribution deal with The CW ended when the overall distribution deal with the channel ended, and only the U.S. distribution terms remain in effect.
I do agree with you, though, that Supergirl is in zero danger of being cancelled.
Well, I guess that Supergirl could stop when Melissa Benoist's contract will end. I read somewhere that season 6 could be her last one. Plus, if audience continues to be weak (I know the 4th episode aired Sunday marked a rebound but hey, it could have been an accident -> we must wait next Sunday to see if it was an happy suprise or a slow but sure climb) and then, with the Superman & Lois future serie, Supergirl will always be able to make appearances from time to time to help her famous cousin, right?!

For info, Supergirl is aired at 10:30 pm on Summer ... when a few people still are in front of their TV screen but we have 2 episodes
each time and we are behind of 1 season each time, which is a habit here.
