Strange New Worlds renewed for a fourth season

I am writing because it has been discussed before. SNW will either approve a 5th final season and finish it, or cancel the 4th season and wrap up with a smaller budget and 2 TV movies or 1 3-hour TV movie and finish it. Or like in Discovery, they will postpone the season and have to reshoot the last season from the beginning with reshoots, but I think they will want to wrap up with a 5th final season or 1 or 2 TV movies and tell the story of Captain Kirk and the Pike accident.

Honestly, I think a fifth season is 50/50 at this point. However, if there is a fifth season, it'll almost certainly be the last.
If Star Trek is going to be a comedy series, I think they can put it on hold for a bit and release the 5th and final season of SNW around 2027.

Tawny’s Comedy series hasn’t even been officially greenlit. It may not happen.

The only confirmed other show is Academy

Yes and there is at least one other show to run between now and then, Starfleet Academy.
My guess is that it will be approved due to its low budget compared to other current Star Treks. However, another possible approval is that the TV series SNW will start filming after the 5th and final season and then air.

If a fifth season of SNW does happen, it will definitely be its last.

LOWER DECKS sealed it for me... no matter how likely a series can go past 5 seasons in the franchise, it will never happen again. The very best we can expect going forward is 50 episodes of a series. VOY will be the last series to hit over 100. (I really wish ENT's 4th season had 24 episodes so it could have at least hit 100... it deserved to hit that mark.) This also means, unfortunately, that DISCO will be the series with the most episodes of shows from 2017 onward.

I think that's likely true for the next decade, but who knows what turns television will take in the future? Maybe something will come along that'll make producing more episodes the more profitable option. 'Never' is a very long time.

It will also probably involve the use of AI technology.

Season 5 is almost guaranteed to happen. I hope so anyways
I think they will approve and finish the 5th and final season, but it would be nice if they decided on it in a planned way this time.

Even S4 is questionable (Now-former Disney CEO Bob Chapek renewed She-Hulk for S2. Current CEO Bob Iger came aboard and cancelled the renewal.)

Incoming Paramount CEO David Ellison may or may not allow the renewal to proceed.
