I hope everyone who disliked the old uniform collars is happy...the new ones on the male uniforms look like shit.

Not really loving (but don't hate) an Uhura and a Chapel and a M'Benga as none of the characters have any real development (though we know the most about Chapel). So lots of legacy characters, but really only one (Spock, of course) that we have a lot of knowledge on, though surprisingly almost nothing from this time period.

This looks and sounds great. Love the new uniforms, and especially Spock's look. That's probably Peck's hair.The damn Vulcan wigs are never very believable, including Quinto's in the last movie.

Very much so, yes.

In fact there are no black collars on these uniforms, just a round-collared black undershirt.

These outfits are a general improvement.

And honestly the less black undershirt and collar we see the better. The TOS pilot uniforms didn't have black collars at all.

THat's the one where my eyes just rolled to the back of my skull. Now it might work fine, but gut reaction is just why......

I missed a bit while I showered after my workout, but so far both Prodigy and SNW look very promising to me! Ethan has a wonderfully dry sense of humor, Rebecca seems crazy happy doing this, and Anson is gorgeous... I mean a very talented actor. I love that he brought in a boom box! I'm looking forward to seeing M'Benga and young Uhura. Now, if we only knew when it will premiere!

Edit: I totally forgot Jerry O'Connell is married to Rebecca!

Nimoy's hair in TOS was his own so I'm glad they're letting him go all TOS Pilot shaggy for this.
