I suspect the most likely way to make that happen is for more people to purchase the previous one...
Though I guess they may have to rename it if they bring it back again, just to avoid a clash with the Pike series.

I'm dying for an anthology to adopt the Short Treks moniker.
This could be great for all sorts of media. Like if IDW ever feels like rebranding Waypoint, this would be perfect.
Considering it was an e-book release, kind of hard. I mean even for the people who were published, they couldn’t even get a physical copy to give to family or friends as a gift.
LOL you don't have to tell me that. Trying to get my family set up to get the extra digital codes Simon & Schuster gave us was... interesting.
Still, at $6 for a DRM-free copy (or roughly $0.60/story), it's a pretty great deal for those who don't mind ebook formats, especially if you enjoyed the previous collections.
