Agreed. Which is the smart move, completely valid, and understandable. It would be terrible hubris to stomp your foot and pout, so to speak, rather than accept the situation, and recognize experience the best roles to respond.

Shaw is a pragmatic man. He will not go out seeking danger or go on wild gooese chases, but will step out and manage the crisis, including deferring to more experienced hands.

Correct. None of the FJ designs were given an EM treatment. Although, IIRC, FJ's estate did eventually come to a settlement with CBS after it used a similar UFP logo early in DSC's run that resembled one of the designs seen in the SFTM:

Doug says it’s a decommissioned starfleet medical ship, not a hospital ship. Probably meant to deliver medical supplies and such.

It's going to be more than a stretch to call the Eleos a Tier-6 vessel.

They could make it a skin for the NX-01, it's somewhat similar in design.

There’s T6 Mirandas, NX-Classes, Oberth. Not sure why the Eleos can’t be one.

The Eleos is ~100 meters shorter than the NX-Class, so I doubt they’d make it a skin unless they scale it up.

The Franklin from beyond is only 18 meters longer than the Eleos and it’s a T6 ship.

If they get the Eleos into STO, it'll probably be along the lines of the revamped T6 Oberth or Equinox. A science ship, maybe a light raider. It'll definitely be T6 scaleable. Either way it'll be more 'buff' than what we see in Picard.
