Starfleet career?

Isn't that close to the amount of time Spock had served at that time?
That may be a little short of his Starfleet career/service if we include ~4 years at Starfleet Academy, ~11 years with Pike and ~3 years with Kirk (~18 years total), but maybe he subtracted weekends and holidays...:shifty:

I wouldn't join Starfleet.
If I was living around the time of TNG for example and no one really has to do anything to earn their living, I would like to try a career in music. Little bit over 20 years of guitar playing and a lot of ideas for many metal songs, I would like to try creating metal music masterpieces. :)

122,200 hours = 5092 days = 13.9 years. That's a lot of training. :)

I discuss the length of Spock's Starfleet career and his age in my answer to the question: https://scifi.stackexchange.com/que...e-was-serving-on-the-enterprise/240425#240425

In a heartbeat, assuming that I could pass the entry requirements for a science officer.

That would probably be the last place in the 24th century I'd go, unless there was a war on & they needed help in an enlisted medical capacity. Then I'd probably offer myself up as a medical assistant crewman, for a tour of duty, on a space station or something.

Otherwise, I'm trying to make my way to live on Risa & try to put together a holosuite business

If you'd asked me when I was a teenager my answer would've been an emphatic yes. Nowadays I like watching the adventures but I personally just want to stay on safe happy Earth with holodecks and replicators.

Obviously we are all fans. But if you were a teen in the 22-24th century, would you want to go to SFA?

And show off my bod in those spandex pajama/swimsuits, are you kidding?

Oh wait, that's only after they graduate and become enlisted. Until then they wear those sheepish wool things that would make anyone sweat and not because the pattern of the three color piping is reminiscent of the Thralls-in-training on Triskeleon!:guffaw:
