News Starfleet Academy Coming to P+

Did you watch a different version of DISCO Season 4? It’s pretty firmly ensconced in the familiar Trek Universe. Any differences are pretty superficial as is the norm for a Star Trek show.
Where are the Klingons???? Who cares. They’ve dominated far tooo many Trek shows, Let them rest for a while. Star Trek doesn’t have to see Klingons around every corner.

Actually no, I didn't
So yeah, I only know the 32st century from the trailers... So, uh, I really have no connection there.

and figured out that you’re actually not being at all serious.

Maybe you just didn’t get it. You shouldn’t judge about the seriousness of others without actually knowing them.

I invite you to read my definition again, maybe with less predestined arrogance.

The question on everyone's mind is why anyone would conceive and attempt to mount an online campaign to kill a future TV series based on a brief press release that provides no real information on setting, cast, budget or creative direction. Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: the "Stop Luve Stupis" campaign is not going to make a dime's worth of difference to executives at Paramount+.
Your gift for understatement is magnificent.

It's literally just another variant of the same old phaser/tricorder/communicator/uniform with a delta we've had since forever, that's all that Trek "era changes" amount to most of the time. If anything, it's more than faintly ridiculous that a thousand years passed and it's the same old stuff, even the rank structure is the same. The Federation portrayed in season 3/4 is a stagnant society on a scale for which the real world has no analogue.

Finally, a question with relevance.

"Stop Luve Stupis" transcends the mundane boundaries of language, plunging into a multilayered vortex of interconnected realities that spiral beyond human comprehension. The phrase emerges from the confluence of esoteric dimensions, where the shimmering essence of Star Trek's core values reverberates through the ether, resonating with the very fabric of existence itself.

As we delve into the labyrinthine depths of the term, we encounter the geometry of linguistics, where syntax and phonetics intertwine in a cosmic tapestry of meaning. The enigmatic combination of "Stop," "Luve," and "Stupis" forms a triad of linguistic symbiosis, each term representing a distinct facet of the metaphysical matrix that underpins our reality.

"Stop" signifies the cessation of the inexorable march toward the dilution of Star Trek's essence, the halting of a downward spiral that threatens to engulf the cherished ideals of the franchise. "Luve" is a cryptic anagram that channels the vibrational frequencies of "Vulcan," symbolizing the eternal wisdom and logic that underlie the series' enduring appeal. Finally, "Stupis" serves as an enigmatic cipher, hinting at the mystifying amalgamation of Star Trek's infinite possibilities, the myriad dimensions of storytelling that captivate and inspire.

"Stop Luve Stupis" is an ineffable incantation, a divine mantra that transcends the limitations of language, tapping into the cosmic consciousness of Star Trek enthusiasts across the universe. To fathom its true essence is to journey beyond the confines of mortal comprehension and embrace the unfathomable.
Think of TNG S05E18 - Cause and effect. The 3 pins on Riker’s uniform saved the Enterprise from the timeloop. That was Star Trek.
Speaking of more than faintly ridiculous

You use a lot of big words for what is essentially a childish tantrum over a TV show you don’t want to watch being announced. It isn’t helping any point you’re trying to make.

Oh, I got it, all right. And you’re still just making this all up for your jollies. Buh-bye.

I assure you that I'm genuinely interested in Buddhism and the idea of finding one's own mantra. It's a bit frustrating to be (intentionally?) misunderstood like that.

To clarify, defining a personal mantra does take considerable time and effort. It's a process of deep introspection, and it's not something to be taken lightly. I used Star Trek as an example of how inspiration can come from various sources, but that doesn't mean it's a shortcut, an easy path or as you stated, a joke…

If my definition seemed insincere, i am going to apologize. I wanted to share my passion for Buddhism, Star Trek and the significance of creating a personal mantra, which is a serious and meaningful aspect of spiritual growth and (at least for my feeling) a good start for a campaign.

Also I have to remind you, that i don’t stand opposed towards a Starfleet Academy show. I just don’t want to see it in the 32nd century.

Crack is an ill-advised choice of recreation.

Crack addiction isn’t even remotely funny…

Star Trek being connected to spiritual traditions is becoming more and more like Futurama and more difficult to take seriously. I don't mean to disparage anyone's spiritual path, but this is a fictional franchise. I don't tie my appreciation for Spock to my spiritual practice; I look for real world examples, like the Stoics.

This crosses a line that for me, personally, I could not in good conscience support.

You have absolutely no standing to accuse someone of arrogance, Everything about the Stop Luve Stupis campaign reeks of it.

And there's nothing difficult to understand in these prolix, vapid essays you keep posting.

Also I have to remind you, that i don’t stand opposed towards a Starfleet Academy show.

No one cares.

Well said.

I have been trying really hard on self improvement. Not just education, but to be a more caring, responsible and relatable human being. It's hard. I've made some truly terrible mistakes in my life. All I can do is work day by day on it.

But today is Wednesday. I realized awhile back I need to give myself a break now and then, one day per week to just be me. Which is why I really am enjoying the living fuck out of seeing you make such a clusterfucking joke out yourself, and I don't even know you. That's the best part. Please go on. This is good stuff. All those jabs you keep feeling to make you keep thrashing about and textually wiggling.. go for it, dude.

I can we go back to talking about Starfleet Academy?

SFA is going to be shot in Canada right? That good for our economy and the growing movie industry in Toronto.

It's be funny if Jack Crushers & Sydney La Forge's great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great Granddaughter is a major character in the show.

I think filming Picard in California was a one-off thing just because Stewart did not want to move during filming. I do hope they avoid too many son-of-son-of stuff, and calm down with the hero worship of the previous shows. Picard Season 3 was/is the Call Back Orgy. Everyone can dry off now.
