Star Wars: Why didn't we see any wreckage from the droids in Eps4 - 6?

Re: Star Wars: Why didn't we see any wreckage from the droids in Eps4

^ I believe so yes. It's been a while since i've seen ROTS.

There's no Droideka protecting the Viceroy in Episode III. It's kind of weird, the Seperatists seem to only have the mouse droids and Neimoudian soldiers at the Mustafar base. Droidekas show up mainly on General Greivous's ship and on Utapau in the movie.

BTW there is a bit in the Episode I novel that says the droids used on Naboo were seized by the Republic.

Here's the wiki about Rogue Squadron encountering the droids:

and here's the link for Survivor's Quest, which has a cameo by a Droideka:

Don't worry, in 50 years they will remake the Star Wars 1-6 and have three more movies continue from there. Then they can make a thoughtout story and not lame ass ones.

*Is still pissed they killed off Maul, the only good thing dealing with the prequels.

Has any modern remake been better than the original?

Better the Devil you know, than the Devil you don't.

Has any modern remake been better than the original?

The Fly
Thomas Crown Affair
Casino Royal
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
The Thing
Ocean 11

Depends on what you think of as "Modern"

Star Wars: Why didn't we see any wreckage from the droids in Eps4 - 6?

Why would we? For one thing, they weren't everywhere on every world, for another thing 20 years is a long time to clean up the places they might have been left.

Especially someplace like Tatooine where, no doubt, the Jawa community made quick and good use of all the leftovers. The metal for those huge crawler had to come from somewhere, right?

Maul comes back in a novel. he survived the fall and was rescued by battle droids AFAIK. he comes back with robot legs and fights kenobi again.

i won't give away the ending, but it's pretty good

Actually, that sounds pretty bad already.

What, does the SW universe have the same policy as the Marvel universe? That is, "No one dies forever except Uncle Ben (Kenobi)."

^ It wasn't a novel that Maul comes back in, it was a graphic novel.

wait, so no droideka makes an appearance at the end to defend the viceroy? i thought it was in a deleted scene. but ya, seems strange how only those basic model droids were defending him. wouldn't he have at least one or two of the most advanced models to defend his life?

^ I think you should just watch Episode III.

Don't worry, Maul's resurrection was in a non-canon comic series which is basically all about "what if" stuff in the SW universe. It didn't actually "happen."

Not necessarily, especially when the Viceroy and the other Separatist leaders probably had zero reason to think anyone at all would find them, since Mustafar was so remote and only Sidious and Grevious knew of their location. And they weren't expecting to be betrayed by Sidious when Vader was sent to "take care of them" so to me it never seemed odd that there were no droidekas.

well they seemed so leery around the sith in ep1 and now they're allowing one to walk in their presence with a skeleton crew security team?

why would they trust the sith after everything they had gone through.
