That image of the Falcon approaching the hanger is a screencap from A New Hope
The problem is we have no side profile views of the actual physical model used in filming. I can't grab any old model image of the web because you'll just site it as not being 'accurate to the film'
Edit:
I think I found one, I even put the falcon behind the bridge. Though I'm done with this now. I'm with Locutus, lets just discuss the movie as a whole.

The Director probably wants the DS1 to feel huge, more menacing.
It was even oversized in the teaser-teaser trailer from Comic-Con(?) last year.
I thought they formed the LucasFilm Story group to make sure everything fit.
These are not to scale.Your examples are ten times better than Locutus of Boreds
Contrary to what has been said, I really don't think this fabled "Story Group" has much input over the movies. Mostly because I can't picture most Hollywood directors agreeing to a watchdog making demands of what must be done for the sake of something as trivial as continuity. Which is the way it should be.The Director probably wants the DS1 to feel huge, more menacing.

You know, I like plucky rebels, but damn if some part of me wants to be a SSD Captain sooo bad. Still one of the most iconic-ly bad-ass designs ever conceived in its menacing simplicity.
I have no idea what Aquilla is. Google finds me a small town in Alabama? You ought to see the Battleship from Aquilla
The Rogue One trailer makes the Star Trek Beyond trailer look like Plan 9 From Outer Space in comparison. From the strength of it, I'm looking more forward to this movie than Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and I'm betting it will be a better movie.

I think we will only see the NuTrek Universe in the new TV show(If they decide to go that way) and thankfully that will not be on television.
Which the shot certainly accomplishes. Also, there are multiple classes of Star Destroyers. The Director probably wants the DS1 to feel huge, more menacing.
