I've seen that and, yep, it's a great impression but I'm not sure if that's the same as acting. It looks like he has to pull some serious face muscle to resemble Harrison Ford there and I think that may end up hurting alot throughout a 90 day shoot.

Nope, that's his face. He's already played young Harrison Ford in the movie Age of Adeline

This guy isn't on the radar for Indiana Jones or Han Solo so just forget it . The guy obviously doesn't care at this point. He probably doesn't want to be known as a Harrison Ford look alike playing all of Harrisons best know characters.

I noticed one of the guys actually in the frame include the most recent Mr Fantastic. That wouldn't be a good start.

Mon Mothma's rope chains are to thick when compared to ROTJ. The carts the rebels use to ferry people around at the yavin base look nothing like the one we saw in ANH.
A long time ago in a galaxy of who gives a rat's ass?
Looking again at the still pictures the star destroyer to death star size scale is way off. That star destroyer in the distance on the RO photo would from our perspective get smaller as it gets closer to the death star which would mean its smaller in width then the equatorial trench. Totally wrong.
No.

The Imperial Star Destroyer is the tiny sliver on the left just above the aft end of the Super Star Destroyer closest to the original Death Star:

Here we see the Millennium Falcon compared in size to an ISD:

Here we see the Millennium Falcon approaching the small hangar on the inner tier of the main Death Star trench:

Here we see the full outer tier of the main Death Star trench (this is actually the DS2, which is bigger, but this pic is merely to show you the two-tiered trench system, which is similar in shape and layout):

Multiple Star Destroyers could easily dock within a dedicated facility or facilities along the main trench of the Death Star or elsewhere along the surface.

Capital ships such as Imperial-class Star Destroyers could also dock at the station, while magnetic seals kept the station's internal atmosphere in and the vacuum of space out if docking bay doors were opened.

Death Star Drydock was a painting in Celestia Galactica Photografica depicting the drydock of a Death Star. It depicted several Star Destroyers in drydock, as well as a Super Star Destroyer that was presumably being constructed in the drydock area.

Celestia Galactica Photografica is a 12-page gallery featured in Star Wars: Visionaries, drawn by Ryan Church. It consists of a series of paintings by Ryan Church depicting various scenes of the galaxy; in terms of canonicity, they are in-universe paintings made by in-universe artists.

The hanger shots and the falcon approaching the hanger do not seem to be from the films. To me the films are the only canon. Your third photo is not from ANH. The falcon looks much smaller than in the film and the trench looks bigger. A star destroyer should not be able to fit into the trench. RO shows that a star destroyer would fit comfortably into it with room to spare. The scaling is way off.

Some people have the free time most of us would kill for. And they fill it with this.

My free time is sadly only on Saturdays and Sundays if I am not working. This is the first Sunday in a long time when I have had all day to relax. It didn't take me long to research the film bits to determine the scaling was wrong. I knew it from the first I saw the trailer. I am a big fan of the films and can be a bit nitpicky at times.

Needlessly so, it seems.

Well it is a rather large mistake. Star Destroyers of ANH era are rather large and imposing. The first scene in ANH just showed us how large they are. The Death Star is Huge but RO has depicted the Star Destroyers probably 40-50% to small. The fourth Star Destroyer from the right is still quite some distance from the Death Star but looks like it can already fit in the main trench. Its just to far off in scaling. I am sure I am not the only one to catch this.

Large mistake, haha!, I see what you did there. And I thought you didn't have a sense of humour.

Ah no, seriously though, on with the thread and not the sizing issues. We had enough of that 7 years ago.

I do have a sense of humor but the scaling issue is a glaring mistake. They got the Stormtroopers and the rebels soldiers on spot though. Actually I hope we get to see more rebel soldiers this time around. A rebel soldier as a main character would be cool. I really like those tear dropped shaped helmets.
