Star Wars Rebels Season Two (spoilers)

It's kind of obvious.

Also I read Dave Filoni promised Feddie he would not have Kanan kill the female inquisitor. Voiced by his wife, Sarah Michelle Geller if you didn't know

On the plus side, it is said that Rex was "the really old guy" on Endor

Would he still be alive? With the increased aging and that of clones?

Even 5 years after ROTS, clones were becoming rare. Tarkin was surprised at seeing one serving in Vader's ranks in the novel 'Tarkin'

Vader even threatened him a few times, saying something like 'he was getting too old'

Rex would be roughly 70 years old in terms of his body by the time of Endor. (Actual age would be 36) That's about my parent's age and they could still do that with practice. The Alliance wouldn't force his retirement. Plus if humans in Star Wars are like us with more advanced technology and foods, they should live longer (without the constant warfare that is), and need to be viable for a greater time rather than retire early and run out of money when you still have thirty years to live if the last quarter of your life.

Would he still be alive? With the increased aging and that of clones?

A Geonosis veteran Jango-clone narrated part of the "Rise of the Empire" single-player campaign of the video game Battlefront II which gets as far as the Hoth campaign in TESB.

Also, one of the original Jangos appeared in the ( no longer canon ) post-ROTJ book Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor.

Forbes has called tonight's finale "probably the darkest episode of any Star Wars cartoon I've ever seen."

Someone who is going to stream the episode over skype for me has said that Disney channel has occasionally given out a "Some Scenes" warning for the show

Well, now that was an interesting episode

Vader didn't kill Ahsoka? You see her at the end walking back into the temple after the Owl flies by. Also LOL Sam Witwer blinding another Jedi with a lightsaber. Pretty sure the holocron was voiced by Asajj Ventress' voice actress

Aside from Ezra's unforgivable stupidity, that was an amazing episode full of shocking events.
I expected the two male Inquisitors to die, but never Seventh Sister. Not only is she voiced by SMG, more importantly she stars in the Jedi Academy stage show at Disney World. I can't believe they would use her in that when she's only appearing in a single season!
I can't believe Kanan lost his eyes. Damn. I never, ever expected that to happen. He's the second most important character on the show!
I was 100% convinced Ahsoka would die in this episode. I was terrified watching the last ten minutes, and I am GREATLY relieved she survived, though I'm a little pissed we didn't see what happened.
So, was Maul just wandering around there for months waiting for a rube to show up, or did he sense they were about to show up?
So, that helicopter flying trick the Inquisitors did was awesome, but how come they never did this before? Is this just a really low gravity planet or something?
Was the interface at the top of the planet a Star Forge???
I haven't played KOTR2 in forever, but did the design of the planet and the weapon in it bare any similarity to the game? Wasn't Malachor a destroyed splintered wreck of a planet that was blown up, with a secret Sith Academy on it?
I'm disappointed Maul didn't join in the fight against Vader. How awesome would it have been if Ahsoka was knocked down, about to die, and MAUL showed up to save her and they double teamed Vader, forcing him to flee?
Amazing, amazing visuals in this episode. The design of the planet's surface and the underworld were breathtaking. I loved all the wide shots with tiny little lightsaber fights going on. Vader standing on top of his TIE Fighter was a classic shot.

Nah, it didn't look anything like Malachor V in the game, there were similarities to its back story, major battle, lots of death, Sith temple on it. The interface at the top was probably what ever caused all the desolation around the temple. I looked at the end credits again, the Sith Holocron was indeed voiced by Asajj Ventress' VA.

Edit

Filoni says Ahsoka's fate is open ended, but she isn't coming back

I am 27 years old

I have seen death first hand

Nothing shocks me

Right now, I am sitting at my computer table after watching the episode shaking badly and sobbing my head off... Rex has lost a friend, and we might well have seen Ahsoka's Force Ghost

Rest in Peace, Ahsoka Tano

Holy shit, that was fucking epic! I hadn't thought Rebels could ever equal Clone Wars but that episode was something else. I hadn't seen any previews or anything so just thought it was just another episode until I started watching.

When I was a kid the scene in ROTJ when Vader lit Luke's lightsaber gave me goosebumps because I didn't know what would happen. I felt that again with
Maul
, so well done.

Even Chopper ruled but I'm one who's always liked him.

fantastic episode. surprised by some of the deaths. and like many others, i was nervous the last ten minutes. i was certain Ahsoka wouldn't survive. kinda glad Ezra's Lightsaber got destroyed. i never liked it.

Brilliant episode! Now the wait.............Can't wait to see if they introduce Rogue One characters in Season 3 this Fall leading up to the movie..........
Vader riding the TIE fighter like a BOSS was amazing--but the helicopter lightsabers...........that was the ONLY small negative for me
