Spoilers Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 - Panel News/Announcements Thread

I really, really, really hope they release the panel later on for us to watch. I understand the omission of the trailer variant but, come on, let us watch the panel!

For those not watching the livestream: I think Dave Filloni just expressed an emotion! This is not a drill, there was definite voice cracking and it's precious.

Daisy Ridley coming back for a 'New Jedi Order' story set 15 years post ST.

Let's see...after Boyega fried Disney/LFL for his (and Finn's) mistreatment (rightfully so), I wonder if LFL will try to get him to return, write out or kill off Finn (would not be a surprise at all), or recast him with a more compliant token?

Well this is interesting; word out of the High Republic panel is that Vernestra Rwoh will be in 'The Acolyte'. I'm guessing that's Rebecca Henderson's character which she already cryptically (and weirdly specifically) described as a "Mirialan elder Jedi Master". Since 'The Acolyte' takes place a century after Phase I, that seems to track.
Kinda wild that the youngest Jedi from one era shows up as among the eldest in another.

Oh and the RotJ 40th panel hosted by Ming Na Wen is currently on the official livestream. I anticipate silliness and giggling.

Next lot of interviews from yesterday (pretty sure this is the last of the backlog.)

Hmm? I'm pretty sure you can watch the entire panel on Youtube. Once the livestream ends you can just go back and watch it from any point you want.

The livestream didn't even start until that panel was already over, and they don't generally post full panels after the fact if they weren't on live. They certainly didn't last year.
The only panel shown live yesterday was the 'Making of Andor', and today they just got done showing the RotJ 40th. (featuring a very much over it all/possibly jetlagged Billy Dee Williams.) No Ahsoka, no High Republic.
Most of the official stream is interviews with panellists at the celebration stage *after* their respective panels (interspersed with some promotional fluff for whatever tat the vendors are hawking, and the latest trailer on repeat.) You're lucky if they show two panels a day (fingers crossed for the TCW panel this evening being one of them.)

Ooooo...that'll be a lot of fun to watch! Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until Monday to watch it or anything else that comes out. But I'm looking forward to it!

The extended Ahsoka trailer shows Sabine using Ezra’s lightsaber, and Thrawn’s face
Lucky bastards!

And again, I'm fine withholding that as exclusive content for participates, but the rest of us should get to see all of the panels!

To be clear, I've been vocal about this particular thing for years now. There's no excuse for it after everything was available online during COVID and teleconferencing was become more of the norm.

More interviews from the stage.

I'm pretty sure they showed full panels even before Covid.
