why do other movies get in the way but I think it is good that they are taking their time and it's good for the actors and actresses as well patience is necessary isn't it if they want to make another brill Trek film.
It's because they are moving slow on Trek XII, so Chris Pine is currently filming a movie and looks to have two lined up that will go into production next year.

If the world doesn't end in 2012, then yes. It made too much money for there not to be a sequel.

startrekrcks, I get that you're enthusiastic about the next movie -- we all get it, I think -- but double- and triple-posting all over the place is not going to make the movie come any sooner. Furthermore, it's discouraged under the board rules. If you've posted once in a thread and think a minute later of something you wish to add, use the Edit button to amend the existing post or wait until someone else has made a post in the thread before posting again.
The movie will come, in just as much time as it takes to make it properly.
