So I started fleshing it out some more. I'll be using this model as reference for the final concept sketch:

I really like the round transition from saucer to neck. It makes the whole ship look much more uniform.

Alright, here is my new and improved Crossfield concept. This time I wanted to be more faithful to the overall shape from the show than my first concept. I'm still on the fence with adding the third impulse engine. Though if anything I think would look better with a single engine on the saucer as opposed to 2 at the back of the engineering hull...

I agree. Alot better than some of the current ships where the registry and name are hard to make out against the busy and dark hull.

Started on blocking out a Ptolemy class redesign. It will be around the same era as the Shepard class, so it will follow a similar design language to Shepard concept I did
