Just for fun I started blocking out a revised SNW Enterprise, but I realized it's the perfect opportunity to make a Sombra class in my humble little headcannon universe. I do love the SNW Enterprise (the John Eaves concept version is the best version), but it still strayed too far from the TOS Enterprise.

I've already shown what I would do with the TOS Enterprise, so I've decided to make my own version of the SNW design, but in this universe it is the Sombra class. The smaller, older older sister to the Constitution. It will follow a similar design language to the Shepard and Ptolemy.

Ooh, this looks super cool! Reminds me a bit of the angular design of Voyager-J from Discovery. The split deflector(s) but singular impulse engines are neat touches.

That 25th century ship is amazing. I tend to dislike a lot of the late 24th/25th century starfleet design aesthetic because the ships often stop looking like machines and more like flying sculptures. But your design aesthetic somehow manages to have its cake and eat it too, its both futuristically sculptural, whilst also looking machine-like and purposeful. Fantastic work.

A more refined version of the Inceptor:

I love this. The proportions are very pleasing and the visual simplicity appeals. There has been a tendency for more recent canon starships to be unnecessarily messy or complex or fiddly in some way, and this design demonstrates that it's just not necessary.

Some more Ptolemy. Once again I'm getting carried away with detail that is barely seen through a translucent cover:

The detail at the back with antennas is just a placeholder from a greeble pack

Okay so in my defence I was already thinking I needed more detail on the inside of the translucent bridge dome I'm working on to give it more depth, but I am absolutely going to shamelessly steal be inspired by that yellow/blue light pattern because its really good
