WOW ... 10

Now we have an undetermined amount of time to try and figure out just what it is that causes the Spock/Christine relationship to sour once again by the time of TOS.

T'Pring is pissed, no wonder she runs to Stonn.

This also explains a lot about why the first time we see her and Spock communicate inTOS, it seems so damn cold.
(beyond the usual Vulcan stoicism)

I wonder if they will show T'Pring actually discovering that Spock's feelings for Chapel are real.

bacon is awesome

Well... Yeah!

A quibble. Spock implies human emotions are stronger than Vulcan ones, the implication has always been Vulcan emotions are far more intense than human ones hence their need to suppress them. But here Spock says human emotions are stronger.

...

Spock and Chapel in the corridor post her interview call. Damn. The chemistry between these two. It's so strong I want canon to be violated so they can be together.

He said that while he was Human and trying his damndest to deal with the overwhelming nature of the beast.
Just the fact that he ate bacon proves he had completely lost his innate nature.

There was a lot of You Are Cordially Invited in this one

This is actually one of the more sensible Trek missions. Fly the shuttlecraft up to the strange energy anomaly, rather than the ship itself.

Of course, it's just a plot contrivance.
Really you should send almost always:
1) Send in a Probe first to do remote scans
2) Then a shuttle or small craft for more detailed scans
3) If safe, then send in the main ship.

The costume designer calls her Tea-pring :D Maybe because he had to bring tea...? :D

I kind of liked that part. A recurring Trek problem is that nonhuman cultures have limited range.
Clearly Vulcans are not supposed to show emotions so openly. She didn't want Spock to be human-like, but her own husband is. (Note: Trellium-induced behavior is not typical, and pointing that out is not moving goalposts ;))
