I did love that one line Amanda had when she said it's not easy for a human who loves a Vulcan. Clearly implying that even with all the baggage going on between Sarek and Spock, Amanda still loves Sarek even in spite of it all.

right. And consistent with their depiction in TOS as a couple obviously still in love.

Absolutely. I have lots of good and bad to say about the first two seasons of Disco, but everything with the Sarek family is heartbreakingly note perfect.

And YES, I will continue to go on about it.

I think ret-retconning Michael out of existence (or whatever you want to call the BS that they did at the end of Disco 2) was one of the greatest disservices to characters that Star Trek has ever done. And this is the series that had Jim Kirk amusingly retort "I had a brother once" and NOT talk about his actual brother.

Isn’t Spock the youngest? So the order is Sybok, Michael, Spock?

Whoops! My mistake! For some reason, I thought Michael was the youngest.

And Sybok is the oldest who has their driving permit and always brings back the family car with a weird skunky smell and empty food wrappers in the floorboards.
