There was an old website that analyzed this and found that the only woman Kirk ever actually had s-- with in TOS was Deela from Wink of an Eye, after she more or less coerced him I think? I can't find the website now.
"S--"?! I think you're trying to say "sex," right?

It's definitely more than just one. Off hand, there's the slave girl in Bread and Circuses. There's Deela and the "native America" Miramee. You've got to think he did it with Marlena in the Mirror Universe.

But, yeah, it's not quite the list of conquests that is usually assumed!

Gorkon: You have not experienced Strange New Worlds until you have watched it in the original Klingon--

P'aik: Fire!

(the shuttle is destroyed)

P'aik: I wanted prisoners!

Uh'eraa: A lucky shot, sir.

(P'aik vaporizes her)

Kirk's "sleeping around" reputation is completely unwarranted, as is his "reckless" reputation.

There was that time he fucked the slave woman who could not reasonably give consent on the Roman planet though.

Of course, Sisko tricked MU Jadzia into fucking him, even though there was no indication at all that he had the hots for her in the PU.

Am I the only one that isn’t a fan of the ep title. Seems a little too much when they could have gone simple with “the first servant” or even Alora.

When SNW goes retro it really goes retro. Even the switches for the desktop commpanels are bigger than they are in TOS!

This was a good standard Trek episode. Pike got to fool around only to find out the bitch was evil. I was a little annoyed that they didn't really tell us what the kid was needed for. I suppose if they added details it would seem stupid. I did like how the father came off like an asshole and how we learn that is because he has to bring his kid to die.

I like the old-school TOS poetic episode titles. I loathed TNG's unimaginative, boring, perfunctory "The This," "The That," and "The Other" title format.

There's a lot to like about TNG, but the episode titles do not rank high on that list.

Commodore Mendez: Chris, we got a subspace message for you today from one Alora of Majalis. You haven't gotten many messages since your acccident so I'll admit that I was suprised at first. There are only 2 words, "Ha ha". Does this mean anything to you?

Pike:

Pike: BEEEP . . . BEEEP.
Mendez: Did you just beep " No" or beep "Yes" twice?

Trek likes to do that from time to time, all the way back to TOS with "Is there, in truth, no beauty?"

There should have been a gazillion holographic combat scenarios run with Uhura before she got to the real phaser. All the body language Uhura showed indicated she might not have even been in enough to count on 2 hands.

Uhura got unlucky, but I don't think she actually made any mistakes, they were attempting to graze the ship and the target changed course towards the beam literally at the last moment. I suppose the question is how much auto targeting is there at this point in the timeline. That is to say, does the computer have the ability to change where the phaser is aimed based on real time scans of the target?
