Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Functionally, with the quantum slipstream drive, that could be objectively true. Stylistically and aesthetically, however, that would be a matter of opinion - which I don’t quite share in this case. YMMV. Sorry...

"What You Leave Behind" wasn't actually a CBS production, was it? So I'm not sure they'd have the rights to make the USS Emmett Till.

Yep. Mine just came in yesterday also. Glad that missing tooth finally grew in. Now for the Fesarius, Akira and Disco Work Bee...

Does anyone have any current discount codes
Edit - HERO20 worked for me. Ordered the regular Defiant and the XL Voyager.

I think I read somewhere that the renders in the EM Negh'Var magazine show the official CG model (built for VOY: Endgame, I think), whereas the physical model is based on a certain inaccurate fanmade mesh from the internet. Is there any Negh'Var expert here who can confirm this?

You're saying that the original physical studio model, as first seen in TNG's AGT is based on someone else's mesh?

There was an early non-official resin kit from Skyhook, using a Vor'cha body to build on (called the "Future Klingon Battlecruiser") with questionably accuracy, but that's all I can think of. This is where I believe the alternate name for the "Voodieh" class came from (the AGT variant of the Negh'var with the "fangs"), also named as such by the old ST Trading Card RPG by Decipher.

I think I'm missing something here.

No, I'm saying the Eaglemoss model is based on someone else's mesh, even though the renders in their magazine prove that they also have a more accurate mesh at their disposal. But since I don't have the EM model or magazine I couldn't confirm this.

The original studio model is a based on the Vor'cha, so the model kit might not have been far off!

I'm not sure about the Eaglemoss model, but from memory the Endgame CGI mesh wasn't 100% accurate to the AGT/WOTW studio model.
