Star Trek's entire history is of new people coming along and making it work.
I would love to reply to this however my eyes appear to have rolled right out of their sockets and I think one has ended up under the bed.I could see Ron Moore or Seth McFarlane making it work as well. I am sure their are others but those two would of course would bring lots of attention and who among us doesn't want to see them working on more Star Trek due to their past shows that were 100% pure canon official Trek!

The closest he has ever or will ever get is getting yelled at by CommanderNot only has Seth MacFarlane never made Star Trek, he should never be allowed anywhere near Star Trek.

He wouldn't have creative freedom. Why would Ron Moore not return to Star Trek? If he had some of the creative freedom he had in making Battlestar Galaticia I see no reason why he might not be interested. Enough time has passed since he worked on Trek in the past and has gone out and proven that he can make stuff other than Trek so it's not like he really needs to prove himself either at this point.
Paramount's not going to give him that kind of freedom on a Star Trek series. And besides, he's said one of his biggest regrets about moving onto Voyager is that after DS9 he should have closed the door on Star Trek and moved on with life. Which he has now done. I don't see him as the type to wallow in the past like Terry Matalas. If he had some of the creative freedom he had in making Battlestar Galaticia I see no reason why he might not be interested.
Oh, absolutely, the very notion is ridiculous and the thought that it was even brought up was ridiculous. However, I was just responding to those saying that Ron Moore has no desire to ever return to Star Trek.I doubt Ron Moore wants to helm a children's series of YouTube Star Trek shorts.
