If the Janeway show happens, it's more likely to be a Voyager reunion than a live action continuation of Prodigy.
Janeway= Picard redux.
Needs less lighting to be Star Trek: Janeway.

She's fifteen year younger than Patrick Stewart and that old coot got his own show.I doubt it.
Kate Mulgrew is not getting any younger.![]()

And fifteen years from now maybe she will too.Sir Patrick had to be carried over the finish line to complete Picard.
I don’t know…. I always kind of liked darkly-lit bridges. Gave it a kind of nautical submariner feel. I particularly liked the Saratoga’s bridge at the opening scene of TVH, lit only by the monitors they were using to observe the whale probe. I suspect it was more common in the movies because of the ability for traditional film to handle darker environments than the crap cameras they used for TV back then. Since high-definition and digital recordings became cost effective for TV production, the darker environments became more fashionable.Funnily enough, we've already seen Janeway with somewhat PIC season three lighting. Just watch a VOY ep where the power is out/failing.

Ugh, PIC looks so ugly there. So dark you can't see details, but with the contrast set at a point where instead of black you get grey. And to top it all off, a bunch of crappy little lens smears.

Just not the same if Matalas isn't making it. He is the glue that makes the idea,stickstink.
