All I've seen is 'next week', no actual date.
All 20 episodes of Prodigy can be purchased digitally through Amazon Prime Video; in the U.S., the first half of the season is available to purchase on Apple TV, Vudu, Youtube TV, and Google Play. If you’re based in the UK, the full season one is currently available to purchase through the Sky Store, as well as through Apple TV, Youtube TV, and Google Play.
(1) I hadn't noticed, but the ascending part of the main theme sounds a bit like the most famous theme in the finale of the Sibelius 5th.I'm gonna miss this theme music being attached to new episodes.

From Reddit, an image from a card on Prodigy's (S1) writers' wall. Interestingly, the question "why was the Protostar in an Asteroid" hasn't really been answered yet. I wonder if the writers intent to reveal more in S2, or if we have gotten all the answers we are gonna get.
That it was deliberately sent to a place full of Chimerium (to make it even more difficult to find) is a good suggestion. Its likely that Chakotay plotted a course to Tars Lamora (or Hologram Janeway did) because he may have originally found it prior to encountering the anomaly (or it may have been encountered by Voyager's long range sensors [and at the time it was just logged but never investigated by the crew], and because it has an abundance of Chimerium (which is used for cloaking - something the UFP doesn't use), it would have been a perfect place to hide the ship.

The ramp of the Protostar was also lowered though, no explanation for that one yet. Normally it shouldn't have been, unless someone/something left the ship that way or unless visitors were expected. It's also strange that it was deep inside Tars Lamora (in a mine shaft, more or less), with particularly high concentrations of Chimerium in its direct environment.
Aaron Waltke giving a tease for a season 2 episode (that we hopefully will see, one day...): https://twitter.com/GoodAaron/status/1680019667489005568
As for the nomination mentioned in the post above, this was the one for eps 1-10 that wasn't won in the end (though Prodigy did win for production design, with Taini). Hopefully another nomination for 11-20, later on.
Except the show is cancelled. So the hype is pointless unless they can find someone elseI do like Aaron Waltke, but that tweet was too "Studio Suit" for my liking. I get he needs to hype up his product, but that is too much praise to give one episode.
Exactly. Aaron Waltke, along with the Hagemans, have been pushing for the "save Prodigy" campaign and of course they want to hype up their product for potential purchasers (as in the Netflixes and other Amazons) and for the viewers they would have to be promising to whoever takes over the broadcast rights. The hype is necessary to make it attractive to potential buyers. If there's no buzz why pay for it?
