Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Prodigy Season 2 Spoilers

Because of the lead time on animated shows compared to live action, Wesley's appearance in PRO S2 season was written before Picard Season 2, but the PIC team did know they were using him, so Terry Matalas called the Prodigy team and worked with them to make sure they didn't contradict anything

People in high places loved Picard season 3:

In a wide-ranging interview with Feige, the Marvel boss briefly revealed that the entire reason he knows Terry Matalas is because he wanted to figure out who the person behind Picard Season 3 was. “That’s how I got to know him,” Feige says. “It was from his amazing [work on Picard Season 3. I said: This is incredible. I don't know how this exists. Let me find the person who made this.”

There were a few tracks that I had forgotten about, so it was a nice feeling to relive some of those moments again.

I recently bought Star Trek: Picard The Complete Series on DVD at Walmarts. I'm still on Season 1. I'm liking it so far. I've seen parts of this series before and liked what I saw.
Don't want to spoil anything but the graphics and sheer creativity of this show just blow me away, and I also like and admire the plot.

Basically, it brings a greater sense of realism to the TrekVerse, oder;

What Andor is to Star Wars;
Picard is to Trek

Maybe not 100% but maybe 65% the more I watch it. It's still got that campiness Andor does not have. I don't disagree with you HotRod. :)

I personally enjoyed the start of Picard and up until the last 2-3 episodes of the first season, found it quite enjoyable. The second season started very promising and quickly became mediocre to poor. I know the third season is extremely popular but it in my opinion is a big step backwards. Of course all opinions are allowed. But I certainly can’t see the comparison to Andor.

Season 1 was classic serialized Trek - strong start, flabby - but occassionally brilliant - middle, weak end.
Season 2 was weak in general, but interesting and unique. Nowhere near the worst of the franchise.
Season 3 was boring trash from start to finish. Much closer to being the worst of the franchise, though I still don't know I'd say that ultimately.
