Congratulations for Picard getting nominated and Patrick Stewart for best actor. that's great news.
I saw on Star Trek Picard's twitter page had news from spoiler tv that season 2 was supposed to start filming sometime in January 2021 through June 2021 and season 3 Jan 2022 to June 2022. I guess this is just arumor about a third season for now but thought it was interesting they finally mentioned a chance for season 2 to finally start filming next year. I hope they'll have good stories for the characters in season 2.
Evan Evagora was on a podcast the other day and he pretty much confirmed that they’re shooting season 2 in January. But he said nothing about a third season. It wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to squeeze it all into one big shooting schedule tho - with all the COVID restrictions that cause additional costs in place it’s probably cheaper in the end to just shoot it all for months instead of shooting just one season and then stop and then go through the entire restriction process again. (I know we apparently have a vaccine coming at some soon-ish point but we will still be dealing with the virus for quite a while.) I mean the original idea was for the show have only three seasons IIRC. Or rather, they said they had MATERIAL for three seasons.
Hey who are the other two people with Sir Patrick and Isa Briones
Also I think the Coronavirus will be with us for a few years, and likely will change over time.
Looks like the set of a chat show. So, the hosts???
Oh I thought it was other cast members.
A google image search gives me:
Search Engines, what can't you do?
You don't want to know some of what they CAN do.
You'll let us know. Or Guy Gardener will.
Even I'm not that brave.
Then I guess Guy will take one for the team. And by "take" I mean actively seek out.
This is why we pay him the big Space Bucks.
Picard is in the running for most "In demand Series Debut" at the global tv demand Awards, set to stream in 2021.
The Production Weekly start of filming date appears to be confirmed
Yep, so after some more searching, it turns out they are Cynthia Loyst and Marci Ien. Marci Ien is a member of the Canadian Parliament now (elected in October). Neat.
OT, I join you in your Tilly worship. I like her character from the very beginning and Wiseman truly brings her to life. And no, I'm not just a dirty old man (at least not the dirty part).
I came across convention news at Treknews.net that Creation Convention planned 3 conventions next summer The First one in Canada July 16 -18 celebrating Star Treks 55 anniversary .Isa Briones and Jonathan Delarco and Michelle Hurd will be appearing in Canada, &New York and New Jersey. Gates McFadden will be at one of the conventions too.
Tilly is fine.
If you like Tilly Una McCormack's book is about her character is really good.
Will be jumping for joy when they announce filming again!
