I saw on Star Trek Picard's twitter page had news from spoiler tv that season 2 was supposed to start filming sometime in January 2021 through June 2021 and season 3 Jan 2022 to June 2022. I guess this is just arumor about a third season for now but thought it was interesting they finally mentioned a chance for season 2 to finally start filming next year. I hope they'll have good stories for the characters in season 2.

Evan Evagora was on a podcast the other day and he pretty much confirmed that they’re shooting season 2 in January. But he said nothing about a third season. It wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to squeeze it all into one big shooting schedule tho - with all the COVID restrictions that cause additional costs in place it’s probably cheaper in the end to just shoot it all for months instead of shooting just one season and then stop and then go through the entire restriction process again. (I know we apparently have a vaccine coming at some soon-ish point but we will still be dealing with the virus for quite a while.) I mean the original idea was for the show have only three seasons IIRC. Or rather, they said they had MATERIAL for three seasons.

Hey who are the other two people with Sir Patrick and Isa Briones

Also I think the Coronavirus will be with us for a few years, and likely will change over time.
