That was by far the most fitting use of the F-bomb. Seeing her (and later the Shrike) being obliterated was pretty satisfying, although her knowledge of what's up with Jack died with her.

Loved the dialogue between Riker and Troi, felt very natural and authentic. Riker's reaction to Worf's rescue was hilarious, too, as was the newly snarky Data over the shipwide comms. "This is your friendly positronic pissed-off security system."

I was confused as to why Geordi points out that "using humor" is something new for Data. Does he not remember Mr. Tricorder?

Poor T'Veen. I thought for sure the fake out of Vadic aiming at Esmar was going to be that nervous-looking but nameless gold shirt next to Mura, so that was truly shocking.

Another 9.999999 from me.
I'm sure it will all round out to a 10 in the end.

Having the TNG Gang all back together again, was worth the years and the 8 episode wait.
:techman:

I honestly did not expect Vadic to be taken out till the last episode though.
That was a surprise.

A weak and ancient voice? Either it's somehow origin of the Borg (only real way to bring them back in a new way again at this point) or something from TNG lore. Progenitors from "The Chase"... T'Kon, Iconians... Armus?!? Maybe someone is very good at music call backs and can detect some subtle foreshadowing...

All the clues we've been given so far really do point to the Pah-Wraiths as somehow being the big bad.
Of course that could be purposeful misdirection.

Perhaps somehow one of them managed to find a crack to project itself through hoping to get released by using Jack.

It's apparently linked to Seven somehow. Vadic says it's fitting that she is present to see/hear the truth about Jack. Could be a clue.

Well, I can't use U.S. Paramount Plus in the UK, and the Amazon Prime version is stuck behind a paywall for a subscription despite being a base part of Amazon Prime here, so I guess I'm going to wait until Saturday night and have to rely on spoilers to know what happened.

This season has been the best real Star Trek in 25 years.

Going to be super sad in a few weeks with no more new episodes to look forward to. SNW just seems sophomoric and not as good in comparison.

I hope Star Trek: Legacy happens. Matalas deserves another show to run.

Well there was the Bajoran archaeology piece in the season 2 Picard study (where Terry Matalas had a major hand in picking what all went there) so a thread's been established...

Real world though I just don't see them having two major DS9 villains, but if Terry sees all 24th century Berman-era as one continuous thing...

Data taking over Lore from the inside out and combining into a finally complete, perfected Soong being was expected but so so worthwhile.

The use of “The Enterprise” from TMP and Nemesis for the Titan flyby after the crew was finally reunited was lovely and I think for the first time the Titan felt epic, like it belonged.

Also I loved the Kelvin Enterprise bridge sensor beep sweep sound

The Pah-wraiths using damaged Changelings to do their bidding would be right up their alley though.

A Borg connection seems more of a stretch to me.
The Borg would have infected Vadic thus making her able to hear the Collective in her head.
I don't see the need for her to have to disconnect her hand to communicate with the Borg.
Whereas the Pah-wraiths would find some pleasure making it painful for her to do so.

Like I said though, it's probably just misdirection to keep us guessing.

How can PICARD seasons 1, 2, and 3 even be graded on the same scale? Why can't all NuTrek be this good?!?

It's a great sign that there are multiple possibilities, and after the reveal happens it was likely foreshadowed in 301 and 302 hiding in plain sight...

This is just getting infuriating now. :)
I watched Air Force One the other week and this episode was reminding me of that great film. Especially the “get off my bridge” line from Annika.

I’m using US P+ in Japan. I’ve used it in UK and Germany as well.
