"I used to imagine seeing her older, offering me a cup of tea, and asking for a chat" :D

So his dad really looked like that and he did not recognize him
And where was Robert all this time?

NX-01 refit is canon!
F'@@k how I hate that design and the belief that it was going to be used if season 5 was picked up.....UUUGGHHHHH!!!!!!

I do appreciate that they have access to rather cheap sources to get ships, but just. ugghhhhh.......

I always saw it as a prototype to the Constitution-class.

Or it could simply be a toy.

They also have the Promellian cruiser in the bottle there.

I enjoyed this episode a lot more than a lot of the episodes this season (especially the Jurati parts), but how are they going to wrap this all up next week (or are they). I don't think I will be happy if they don't bring some kind of conclusion to this season but I feel like I'm left with more questions than answers. How are they going to get back to the 25th century, what was Q's Penance (Was it having Picard deal with his grief of losing his mother, but then it doesn't entirely mesh with the rest of Q's development this season, does it?), and will Jurati/Queen reset the timeline by actually convincing Picard to listen to her on the Stargazer?). Also, this is the episode that Mother should have been, and it made Last week's episode kind of irrelevant. I think at the end of the season I'm going to look back at this season and figure out a way to trim it in half. I feel like they could have told this story in half a season and it would have felt a little more coherent.

I'm giving this episode the same as last week, which was a 7. Yes it's better than most episodes this season, but I feel like after watching Next week I will have a better picture of what this episode was trying to achieve.

I’ll have to think about this one a bit, but I feel like it made 2.7 even worse and more unnecessary. We could have had what we had here, actual flashbacks of what happened, without the trip to Picard’s mind.

I don’t know what id rate this. There were some minor things that bothered me - mercenaries shooting at elnor (shooting at a hologram?). I was confused as to when exactly jurati creates the hologram. Also why did seven get the exact same implants that she had before above her eye and her hands to heal a stomach wound? How did Rios beam in at exactly the right location and know where the mercs would be?

No Q or Soong’s daughter. And the borg queen plot seemed like it was resolved way too easy. All Agnes had to do all along was propose a new way of doing things.

The flashbacks mostly worked for me here and Picard’s story was definitely tragic. It just doesn’t really seem to tie into anything else and comes off as random though. The battle sequence didn’t work for me and was too long. Raffi/seven we’re finally great in this one.

Yeah we have 2 episodes left and there was no Q or Soong's daughter. How are they even going to come close to wrapping this up because it's a lot.

Finale is just going to end in Q’s courtroom with him saying lesson learnt and snapping everything back to normal.

And where was Robert all this time?

There was a brief mention from Yvette in the season premiere that indicated Robert was away at boarding school:

Yvette Picard in PIC S02E01 The Star Gazer said:
And you've never seen skies like this at night, I promise you. There's magic here. Your father can root around out there in the dirt while your brother toils away at school.

Intriguing ... I give it a 9.

So it seems that Borjarti is the Queen we saw in episode one's opening sequence.

Rios apparently won't be staying behind, nor will Teresa be going with him.
