They showed a preview for next week on All Access...
We're going to FREECLOUD, with a stopover at another planet to pick up Elnor.

No Annika in the preview though.

I gave this one a Nine.
Held my attention all the way through.

Not on the Apple TV version. :(

The iPad version did have a preview and we do get Samauri Guy. That answers that question.

Now when does Jeri Ryan appear.

Ok this was so jarring it pulled me out of the story--all the talk about the synth ban, then Rios is casually chatting with his emergency hologram. What happened? Here we are wondering if Voyager's Doctor was deactivated, and Rios has a holographic synth running around...

Why would Raffi be punished by Starfleet for a synth attack that wasn't her fault? And despite a moneyless society supposedly, we're all but told that Picard is far richer than her. How exactly does the Federation's economy work?

So is Hugh someone who was assimilated by the Borg? Because I always assumed he was one of those maturation chamber Borg, basically a Borg since infancy.

Is this Borg cube hospital the cube that Hugh was on, got disconnected from the Collective, then teamed up with Lore in Descent?

I rewatched last weeks episode. I saw a few things I missed. One was a Romulan Dr saying that the Borg drone that they were removing implants from had been in stasis for "14 years". Which is about the time of the attack on Mars. Not sure what that means, but apparently they have had this Cube for quite a while.

Synths and holos are NOT the same.

There's only one EMH that is in any way close to being a Synth (though just barely), and he's proved himself more than worthy on many an occasion.
I doubt Star Fleet did anything more than require The Doctor to be tracked at all times.
(perhaps The Doctor is the one in season 2, that figures out how the Synth's were hacked?)

Raffi got fired because They knew she wouldn't let it go after Picard quit.
Her exile is self-imposed.
I don't think Star Fleet would cut off her credits even though They fired her.
She just went into a massive depression and took up the self-destructive hobby's.
(booze and alien poppies)

My guess is that many of our assumptions about Hugh and the Borg are going to be challenged/changed.
(retconed?)

Interesting episode; I agree these 3 should have been one 2 hour premiere. So now we have 'dude', swearing and smoking in Star Trek... Picard with that stun pistol was pretty awesome though.

They should have had Saavik. She'd only be about 140-150 years old at this point. She was originally half-Romulan. Natural choice to replace the lost Spock as a representative to Romulus, or whatever is left of it.

So i guess nick meyer was right about the smoking in trek after all
Synths and holos are NOT the same.
And the difference should be trivial to Starfleet who are afraid of advanced AIs. We know EMHs are already used for labor just like the synths. Furthermore, holos are just as dangerous potentially, Starfleet surely remembers Moriarty.

Evil Commodore Saavik as the Zhat Vash agent, gleefully trashing Spock's supernova sacrifice and revealing herself to be a Romulan agent since before the Battle of the Mutara Nebula would throw Trek fandom into chaos.

For which character?
Or do you mean also added into the mix?

After Cuba was cut in half by the Xindi Probe, Cigars became their number one and only export to revitalize the country.
;)

I enjoyed seeing "young" Admiral Picard, meeting Rios and his holograms, and seeing the mysteries of the series unfold. Now Picard is finally back in space, where he's most at home. Once again, I can't wait for next week's episode.

Why would a Vulcan need to wear sunglasses? Someone didn’t so their research on them.
Perhaps it's a crappy disguise?

Or maybe the sunglasses are some kind of device that enables Commodore Oh
to manipulate Dr. Juarti?
