"Boimler leads his first away mission on an alien megastructure." - TrekMovie.com

I liked the episode, but it was let down by the twist ending. I actually wish Dirk was traumatized by the game because that would have been funnier I think. The end just made it a little more predictable.

I liked that Boimler died and the first thing he sees is the Koala. Love the continuity there.

This show is just too entertaining week after week.

I worked for someone who became "Lt. Boimler" and the micromanaging drove the entire team away, but I didn't have the kind of relationship to let them know that they needed to let go or to understand where it came from.

I feel like if this season is going through standard management tropes, it could be fun. Like a certain comic strip that I won't name, but without any of the baggage of that creator.

Also, it's funny to think that people who like jazz would still be a lot to deal with in the future. lol

I'm watching this series with a bunch of friends who are new fmto Star Trek and I just know the Halo fan in the group is going to LOVE the ring world lol.

Good episode. Having T'Lyn as the 5th wheel is going to be great if she continues to facilitate being grouped up with the Warpcore 4 in interesting and dynamic scenarios.

While I wouldn't want it to be Endgame, I think Boimler is due for his own Jennifer romance.

Take note the only other time we've seen a Vulcan be as aggressively mean before suddenly switching to being weirdly complimentary in the same scene was T'Pol and Trip Tucker.

It's also very common in anime.
