    Has there been any word from Paramount on this issue? Actual word from them about their intentions with retailer exclusives going forward would be nice.

    I imagine they'll be going forward with it. They know there's a market for these kind of releases and that Trekkies being the big fans they are will happily purchase 5 copies of the same movie. Profit is ultimately what matters at the end of the day.

    Very nice of them. I'm almost tempted to buy the set just for the special features (despite not liking the flicks, I'm still fascinated over the production of any film). Here's hoping they soon deliver a better set of the original TOS films with better picture quality.
