That's as crazy as a Cholera epidemic in Istanbul.

Where do you people get your imagination from!
The source is illegal in 40 USA states and 8 EU countries.
Does the EU have 8 countries in 1969?
I'm sorry it isn't EU...it's ECM in 1969!

Re: THEY SAVED KIRKS HAIR

The European Common Market sucks. Long live COMECON!

Re: THEY SAVED KIRKS HAIR

The European Free Trade Association is the real wave of the future. It'll topple both the European Community and COMECON, just mark my words...

Some of us don't need imagination, we actually LIVED through 1969 in person no less, it's a funny thing to be over 40 and remember this stuff as if it happened yesterday, which in some cases it certainly feels like it was only yesterday....

Anyhoo, back to 1969, thanks in part to temperal mechanics and the internet which seems to be in some kind of causality loop where it's still the summer of 1969 ;)

Re: THEY SAVED KIRKS HAIR

This Edward Heath fellow in Britain looks like real national leadership material. Shame his teeth look like a Steinway piano turned on its side.

Re: THEY SAVED KIRKS HAIR

Speaking of 1969 British politics...
Have you guys been keeping up with that feisty female MP from Finchley? Gosh, she has "Iron Lady" written all over her!

Re: THEY SAVED KIRKS HAIR

Relax. What's the worst that can happen? Sure, she seems a little tough, but in the end, she's still a woman. And there's only so far a woman can go in politics, you know.

Rest assured, she'll never make Prime Ministress. :)

Teeth?
Did you look at that nose?
Looks like a huge wedge of hoop cheese!

Then again, Nixon has an ice cream scooped nose.

A real leader's nose should be like the one on Ed Muskie.

Re: THEY SAVED KIRKS HAIR

This George McGovern fellow...he looks like he could carry more than one state.

Am I right?

Re: THEY SAVED KIRKS HAIR

I plan to volunteer for this Scoop Jackson guy...if he ever runs.

Off topic...did you?

Back on topic...
Here in the summer of '69, we all must admit that Richard Daley is the most powerful politician alive.
I bet that he'll stay mayor until he steps aside for that South Deering rising star named Eddie Vrdolyak.

John Lynch has been the most powerful since '66, and he will doubtless remain so. :vulcan: His visit to Northern Ireland in December of last year should swiftly percipitate an end to the problems there.
