I'm not a slash fan, but I do enjoy the Kirk/ Mc Coy community myself.

I've noticed on the LJ Trek communities, that most of the members are well, 20s and younger. And most of them are coming for the Quinto, Pine, Cho, Yelchin and Urban fineness.
The great thing is that they're going back and looking at the original actors who are playing these characters. There's no "Shatner? Who's that old guy supposed to be. I want more pics of Pine in his underwear. OMG! LOL!" These girls are actually watching TOS, TNG, VOY, ENT, DS9 and the older movies and liking the characters.
That does me good more than just seeing the box office returns. People who never watch Trek or were too young to see it are getting into it and liking it because of the movie.
And writergal, thanks for posting the link. I had no idea these were available. I've been looking for Friday's Child.
CBS not available in Canada either. Joost doesn't seem to have any episodes.
CBS would be a great place to watch the remastered episodes too.![]()
I wasn't sure about CBS being viewable in Canada, but I figured it was worth a try. As far as I'm aware, they only have the original, un-"remastered" eps available.

They're all there for me, but upon checking I find that a lot of their content (and particularly that owned by Viacom/CBS) is restricted to US users only (for the usual licensing reasons); I'd been under the (apparently mistaken) impression that it was available globally.Joost doesn't seem to have any episodes.

If I think of another way, I'll post something here.
...How would a man raised on an arid world who spent most of the rest of his life living on starships get to be that good at swimming? Man, if I were a Vulcan and some aliens came along and said, "Hey, wanna learn how to swim?" I'd be all "No. Just No."...
^ I've replaced the unclearly-quoted text with a direct link to the post.
