Were the regulators really beamed in space and not in some place with air?
I don't know what the computer would do if not given a destination so maybe it would? I wouldn't think it would be a good idea to beam them back to an enemy vessel where they could be immediately beamed back. With the risk of personal transporters it'd be best just to beam them out in a wide dispersal pattern but I'm not sure Starfleet would be so cold. Maybe break them down into the components for their next replicator meal.

I guess ethical protocols kicked in without specific instructions.

So what happens to the Emerald Chain now? Just killing Ossyra won't get rid of them completely. I know Ossyra being the leader of the Emerald Chain was a deal breaker for Vance, so perhaps with her gone, the Emerald Chain will join the Federation? Or perhaps another leader will rise and the Emerald Chain will persist as a "cold war" enemy of the Federation?

Finally they got rid of those Discovery uniforms with the asymmetrical collars. I cannot begin to describe how much I despised them since the series started. I hope they get rid of that design for Strange New Worlds as well.

So happy we got to see (Lt.) Sahil again. I almost thought the show had forgotten about him.

Since Adira seems to have received an official Starfleet comission as well, does that mean Earth rejoined the Federation too?

The best way to show the Emerald Chain has collapsed would be to show Andoria rejoining the Federation next season.

The Federation will saturate the market with dilithium and undercut the Chain's most valuable commodity. It's Chapter 11 time for them. What remains after liquidation you couldn't give away to a Ferengi.

Probably warning city states fighting for superiority among lieutenants.

adira is not from Earth, they are from a random generational ship that got hit by a random asteroid just randomly on their window while randomly having on board Tal and randomly being near Earth somehow.

Earth forces randomly found them and randomly put them in an inspection team for no reason just at the random moment Discovery appeared.

Their story is quite random.

Did they say what that liquidy metal wall was that Burnham got shoved into during the fight with Osyraa? I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to make of that. It reminded me of a better scene in Superman III, of all things.

looked a lot like the programmable matter from Terminator 2 and beyond. Why it had to be in the computer core is beyond me.

10/10 for Sahil
1/10 giant Blade Runner city inside Discovery that had air for some convenient reason
1/10 for boring by the numbers action

Poor episode overall but at least it wrapped up the story better than S1,2 or Picard
The crew were good as usual and Book and Adira continue to impress although Adira needs to lose the Grey ghost story.
Burnham being captain will make stories easier going forward but personally I will miss Saru as captain

Why does the warp core eject out a pipe that it can bounce around in ?

was okay, nothing really special happened, and most of everything that happened was expected.
well..
Book Didn't Die, so available for next season?
Staments is still royally pissed at Mikey
Still no Calypso tie in.. interesting..

And personal opinion.. DISPISE THE WONKA-VATOR!! Ugh.. so shit..

Oh.. liked the new warp effects! Sheesh.. seems like a new effect now every time some ship goes to warp!
