It's a guess based on using the same actress. Which is why I placed quotes around the name.Sounds liek circular reasoning. How do you know it's mirror Airiam?

See my post above. TrekCore did a good comparison. It's definitely her.
Update: Well, it's definitely the same actress, at least. We can probably safely assume that this is a MU Easter Egg, implying that it's the same character.
And, while admittedly not 100% official, the IMDB record for that episode lists the actress as playing "Lt. Cmdr. Ariam".
This could still be some kind of delusion besides it contradicts a lot of this that had been established. Like the fact that without mirror Lorca there would have been no Spore Jump... How do you reconcile that with a Lorca living a completely different life?
Hence my mention of the second one.Just because it's the same actress doesn't necessarily mean that she's playing the same part. In fact, Airiam was played by two actresses.
These are the same photos I linked to.The most recent one - she was in the crowd during the Charon christening.
Screencap from TrekCore, along with a ton of analysis on the visuals, including the snow walk, which was almost perfectly duplicated from the original sand walk in the pilot and Carl's newspaper articles:View attachment 19487
in a way it’s just a little Easter egg, in another it was a good way to mention it in a more or less relevant way.I wonder why time soldier Yor was specifically identified as belonging to the Kelvin universe.
not anytime soon. But one day for sure.Do you think a crossover episode will take place down the road?
Prime Spock died in 2263, five years after he turned up in 2258, thats a short time period for a VulcanA good point from those reviews: prime Spock survives quite well for years in the Kelvin universe, either never getting the illness or finding a cure.
Or he faked his death and returned to the Prime universe, doing Vulcan weddings with Elvis in VegasPlus he was "only" 162 when he died (157 years in the Prime Timeline, five in the Kelvin). I used to rationalize it as the Human Half shortening his lifespan, but now I think it might've been the Temporal/Universal Displacement Combo.
So is it Carl, Karl or Quarl? I’ve seen 3 spellings now. FWIW, both IMDB and episode CC had him as Carl.
They originally intended it to be a cameo by Armin Shimerman, but their finger slipped and hit "L" instead of "K". Never one to admit failure, Kurtzman decided it will be a new character.I'm using the Quarl spelling because it's cool
