I do wonder with the fact that time travel has been banned, if Starfleet may actually try to disband Discovery or try to send them back because they would be seen as a threat to the timeline.

Sending them back would alter the future timeline, so they would not want that at all.

I have a feeling that this episode is going to set up the Federation/Starfleet as the baddie for the rest of the season. I have no concrete reasons for it, just a feeling.

I think we're going to see two different "cartels" (for lack of a better word) as the Federation.
They will be competing with each other for top status.
A Starfleet group and a future version of Section-31.

Both will end up wanting Discovery, but obviously the S-31 group will be nefarious in nature.
And I don't think they will really understand Georgiou's true nature or her interests.

02:10 ... It's up and running...

Letter designation on Voyager? I thought the Enterprise was the only ship you do that to as it’s the flagship. Not even the Defiant went to a A.
A starship named Voyager must have done something later on to become the flagship.

Maybe Prodigy will elaborate on that since Janeway is going to be in it.

This episode highlighted the thing I love about this season, this crew working together and feeling very organic. I loved Burnham in command and everyone doing their tasks really well. The last two episodes have really felt like Star Trek of old, and this season feels like Star Trek got it's optimism back. I was surprised Nahn left (especially since the actress joined the main cast) but it was a really heartfelt goodbye. Heck, it might have actually saved Airiam's death, which I had issues with at the time. Things felt like they were coming full circle on that plotline and I was really happy with where we ended up. We still have the old time Federation Badmiral, but he came around in the end and I loved the reference to Giotto from Suru. I couldn't help but feel like he was speaking to us in 2020, how we are living in such a politically divided world saddled with this pandemic and never-ending lockdowns. Maybe I'm over stating it, but just that feeling of "looking up" hit me hard with everything this year has brought, and I think it's a message we all, no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, can share.

This wasn't as good as last week, but I still really enjoyed it. Also, Jeff Russo is really knocking it out of the park this season with the music. The stuff on the ship and the final shots of Suru and Burnham were great, and it was uplifted by that great score. I listen to the first two season soundtracks, but I have a feeling Season 3's is going to be amazing.

This gets a 7 from me.
