What about the whole Pike subplot? It was about him, it was about Tyler, and they got saved by Tilly and Stamets. That had zero to do with Michael. Also, it doesn't seem to me that Spock's loopy state has anything to do with her personally, either. She's there and she's driving, but she isn't the sole focus of anything.

I love fanwank, I love ENT, I love Archer. I would love it if they went down that road. BRING IT!

I think one of the show writers said that in an interview that Archer was in fact Future Guy.

I LOVE ENTERPRISE and I loved the TCW, and maybe it's Future Guy's faction which is the one they never closed the story on that is still active, ah so if Archer is Future Guy he must have got shot into the future and all that he has done is an attempt to fix what he thought had gone wrong.

Or maybe it was that meddling Frank B Parker in the chronosphere from Seven Days ... He likes to meddle you know. :)

Jeez, it's not going to be TCW. Even ENT got tired of it and ended it in the 4th season opener. Discovery writers are not going to touch that failed plot line with a ten foot pole.

I hope and pray you are right, however, they do seem to tease that possibility.

sorry, but that's nonsense. all it needs for those 'spousal' powers to be on the book is one federation member where this is the norm for two thousand years (may be with a veto for the spouse actually holding office). one member we might not have seen yet or one that we've known for years but which hasn't been discussed in depth (like the bolians)

... use your imagination
I don't see the logical Vulcans going for that.

10 "stories" out of 98 episodes.

There were more stories about Mayweather being a love crazy sex guy.

So what did the time tsunami do to the Kelpiens and the Ba'ul? It seems that they forgot that whole story line from last week.

There was some throwaway line about offering to help them negotiate. So that's presumably enough to write the plot off, especially when you weaponize pacing to distract the audience.

I'm actually more curious to know how the Kelpiens and Ba'ul will handle the "time tsunami" heading their way.

Didn't they actually all go mad? (the crew of the Defiant)

As far as the time tsunami thing, I've read elsewhere that a planet the size of Kaminar would likely have sufficient mass/gravity to ride out most of the time distortions and disperse the radiation on the atmosphere. However, they'd probably experience similar echoes like those on Discovery and the shuttle. No idea if that's correct or not, maybe someone with some physics knowledge knows if this is even remotely feasible.

who says it does? afaik time tsunamis are directional and thisone missed kaminar by 2.4 million klicks

Maybe, the time tsunami gave the ba'ul the futuristic knowledge 2000 years ago? Sure, the tech has no origin but what the heck.
