Great episode. I'm interested in seeing where the storyline is going with Spock, I like that it seems to be dealing his life having to grow up as a Vulcan/Human hybrid and how difficult that was for him which has been sort of glossed over before. The Klingon stuff was good, I like that it does deal with the fallout of Starfleet being part of how L'Rell got into power and some houses not trusting her. Wee Baby Voq Jr was cute. I do feel bad for Voq/Tyler, he never was fully accepted in Klingon society and likely never will be in human or Federation society. A man without a home, a people and now his only child.
He's a shitty father, that's why Sybok turned out so trashy. Spock and Michael are only functional because of Amanda, the galaxy's best mother.Oh, absolutely. That family is probably the most messed up one in Trek, and Sarek seems to be at the root of most of it.
