Well, the Enterprise has FOUR, right?...Hey! We already had the original Galileo in the mirror episode! How many shuttles do you need?![]()
The Exeter had four shuttlecraft; we don't know how many the Enterprise had.
I believe it happened also in "By Any Other Name" when they refer to when Spock tricked the guard on Eminiar 7 into thinking they were in the midst of escaping.
^Yes. The guys at Mission Log were pretty good about noting these unique instances of intertextual referencing to other episodes when they did their run on TOS.
The other night it was announced that STC's final fundraiser will be on Indiegogo instead of Kickstarter. It will take place in late February and early March and be called "Indiegogo Where No Man Has Gone Before."

Well, he did restate the plan to make 13 episodes total, so if you take the amount they spend on one episode and multiply by 6, that will probably be their goal.Did he actually say on the radio this was there "final" fundraiser? If it is I wonder how much $$ they hope to raise.
so $300 000 then? don't they wish to finance their Planet Hell set as well, or has that been accomplished already?
I'd say they saw the writing on the wall once CBS announced the new Star Trek series for 2017 release to boost CBS' Netfilx clone service. Unlike Axanar, they didn't want to continue to 'poke the Bear' as it were.It was stated sometime ago that this would be their last funding drive, even before the Axanar bomb came to light.
The engine room was funded completely. The planet set was only funded partially. It needs a little bit more. The Planet set was funded in the last Kickstarter if I am not mistaken. The goal will probably be more like $400K + for 6 episodes. Seems like I read somewhere it was costing more than 50K an episode.
