Cool story. But nothing you have said is "objective."
True, but despite all the marketing and writing geniuses they hire, the perceptional disconnect between what they think and hope they can sell and what we actually know we'll buy is sometimes astonishing. Just look at some of the write-offs on the annual reports to get a long list.Let's not kid ourselves. Every company on this planet makes decisions based on what it can do to sell its product to consumers.
That's great. I was starting to get really worried."Some minor reshoot takes"
"The March reshoots were expected to be a short-lived process, and it seems that they only lasted a week - which should put those of you worried that this was some major overhaul of the film at ease."

I have done that. He said to wait for the trailer. It's no use telling him that. He hates Abrams reboot..Perhaps someone should inform Gustavo and his source!
seemingly perfunctory hiring of Lin (let's not kid ourselves, motivated solely by the desire to capitalize on the Guardians of the Galaxy and F&F audience)
The rumors went that the suits wanted the DNA of Star Trek infused with Guardians or the Galaxy, which were followed by the hiring of Lin to infuse some Fast and Furious DNA whereupon more rumors and assumptions ensued. Add to that all the stuff about being "less Star Treky" and you've got quite the discussion mill. What does Lin have to do with Guardians of the Galaxy?
That's a rumor I missed.I'm guessing it's a reference to that unsourced article from a year ago where it was claimed that Paramount wanted Keenser to be more heavily featured as Trek's answer to Groot. http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2014/12/15/whats-going-on-with-star-trek-3
