Starfleet Academy is in production as we speak. Filming started a few weeks ago.
As discussed above, it's in production now.2026? Is that right? I thought sets had been built already? So potentially no SFA until 2027?![]()

I don't like Star Trek cannibalizing itself.
That reminds me. I gotta put my recycling out.I assume it's about remakes, reboots and reuse.
No you don't. When the sun goes nova it's not going to matter one bit what color bag we put plastics in.That reminds me. I gotta put my recycling out.
Solar Storm today and it's garbage pick up day!!!!!No you don't. When the sun goes nova it's not going to matter one bit what color bag we put plastics in.

That is not how you write a disaster film!!!!!Y'know, every so once in a while we get one of these larger-than-average solar flares headed our way and people act like the Earth is gonna explode or something. Nothing ever happens. Not even some random sparking out of the wall sockets!
I think our electrical infrastructure is a lot more robust than people give it credit for.
The extinction meteor should come well before that.No you don't. When the sun goes nova it's not going to matter one bit what color bag we put plastics in.

Not exactly: we’ve just been extremely lucky so far.Y'know, every so once in a while we get one of these larger-than-average solar flares headed our way and people act like the Earth is gonna explode or something. Nothing ever happens. Not even some random sparking out of the wall sockets!

Yeah: once more we’ve been lucky. So, in other words, nothing has happened.![]()
Imagine finding even five Star Trek fans who agree on everything!
There’s no way The Voyage Home would have been made if fans had an effective veto.
But seriously, we know this is happening and that studios take it on board. SNW and PIC S3 were both designed to appeal to online fans after early seasons of Disco proved divisive. Even giving the Klingons hair and D7s, and bringing back Pike and Spock in DIS S2 was evidence of that.
Indeed and it was a mixed bag. It's a reactive based storytelling that doesn't inspire me. I like Pike but seeing the TNG crew back or Kirk or Scotty or more Klingons is tepid at times.Imagine finding even five Star Trek fans who agree on everything!
