Star Trek Anthology Series

:techman:I'm all for it.

Would be a  direction to go in. Mrs. Scorpio thinks like me.

Well over 2 years ago, maybe even 3 years ago:confused: I posted basically this same topic advocating a ST anthology series. I may have posted that in GenTrek as I don't remember if FoT existed as a separate forum way back then or not.

So what? Me & your wife are no doubt 2 of dozens, if not hundreds, of ST aficionados who've come up with that very concept, or something similar.

I think an anthology show would go along way to attacting different kinds of fans...and wouldn't have the 'same old been there done that' feeling that TREK(s) can fall into a trap with...

I like this idea but what I would do is have stories of all those historical events that we hear about but never actually get to see.

What about the U.S.S. Horizon contaminating the people of Sigma Iotia II?
The destruction of the S.S. Valiant?
And the Exeter's crew getting infected from the planet Omega IV?
Or even the U.S.S. Constellation's encounter with ethe doomsday machine. Now that would be a powerful scene. Seeing the crew's point of view as the doomsday machine cut's up the planet they're on.

Exactly, Uniderth..thats how I see. And not every episode would have to be a historical moment. But with those kinds of stories mixed in with romance or comedy (and I don't mean slap stick) but light hearted stuff, I think enough of variety could be created to attract an audience..
