Spoiler time.

So who decided a show about the C teams would be interesting? :p

Seriously, there's only so much hand-wringing in the dark one can watch.

Promo's for next week's crossover:

This is one of the first Universe episodes that I'm really excited about. I've enjoyed SGU, but none of the other promos or previews have gotten me as interested as this one has. I'm looking forward to it!

Just noticed there's one from Space out too:

Me too...I love the look on Young's face near the end of the clip... "No, we'll give them a peace offering..." but his face says it'll be an offer they can't refuse...and I'm looking forward to finding out what Rodney and Eli were arguing over. :)

Too bad the episode was a real let down. Next.
Agreed. It was an interesting twist with our heros turning out to be the bad guys in the whole situation, but the episode wasn't anywhere near as good as the preview make it look.

The promo for The Hunt looks like one of those low budget monster movies that Syfy puts on all the time.

So, next week we're back to firing assault rifles in Vancouver's pine forest? And the fine tradition of the previous Stargate shows.

First people are complaining about them killing Volker which they didn't do now it's supposedly back to a Vancouver forest, I think we should wait til the ep. airs to be sure.

First people are complaining about them killing Volker which they didn't do...

Oh, that was supposed to be the other week? I'd assumed they were just setting us up for a double fake-out. Have Volker get sick, have him apparently recover while Greer has the harder time of it, then have them both make their respective turns so Volker dies anyway.

Huzzah for misleading rumors! I wish this was happening back in the bad old days of SG-1 and Atlantis, where between odd international airing schedules and thoughtless lack of courtesy, I got spoiled on character deaths repeatedly and through no fault of my own. The worst was when I was not only spoiled on Beckett's death, I was spoiled on his return before the episode where he was killed off aired. Way to remove the last little bit of impact "Sunday" might've had.

I can't even pretend I would've seen it coming or not been wowed because the episode wasn't that great in and of itself. A friend of mine has been watching Atlantis on Netflix recent, and told me that that moment completely shocked him when it happened, so, yeah. Great. At least I was able to avoid spoilers with BSG.

What do you mean "supposedly?" The two seperate promos and SyFy's preview clip make it very clear they are in Vancouver's onmi-present pine forest. It has a very distinctive look and is impossible to mistake. That is Vancouver's pine forest.

Personally using the forest doesn't bother me that much. Anything that films in Vancouver goes there at some point, so it's as useless as complaining about Star Trek ending up at Vasquez Rocks. However, the episode itself does look pretty bland, and I'm not too excited.

When Destiny's second attempt to recharge in a star is foiled by attacking drones, the crew realizes the drones must have found a way to track the stars the Destiny plans to draw power from. Eli suggests that they attempt to recharge in a blue super giant, a star so hot it won't be suspect. But it's a risky option. Rush and Eli joined by Park must stay aboard to manually override Destiny's safety protocols and maneuver it through the star.
The rest of the crew gates to a nearby planet for safety where they find an abandoned city whose former inhabitants appear to have been decimated by an alien attack. Knowing the use of the gate will draw the drones, they prepare to hold out until the Destiny is finished it’'s dangerous recharge.
