Spoiler time.

Everyone sure is going to be pissed when they see Colonel Young in a tent with Sombreroid wearing a Nazi uniform.

You think I'm joking?

I am

Had they known the show was ending, what ending would you have preferred?

I think, get everyone off the ship that sucks or wants to go back to Earth, and leave Rush on it by himself. That’d actually be a kinda interesting show--Rush, all alone on this cool big ship.

Get everyone home with Destiny left to carry on its mission on its own again.... Only way to properly end it. That leaves room for the possibility of one day humans finding a way to dial it again someday in the future, now that they know its out there.

I like the idea of Rush beign on the ship all by himself, that would make for a fun season, and keep costs down.

I suspect Destiny would just create virutal versions of everyone to keep him company, like with his wife and Dr. Franklin.

In regards to the last episode of S2:

Hopefully, by the time its airs, we'll have definite word on a potential movie or two. If it's a go and fans can look forward to a proper end to Destiny's mission, then Gauntlet will certainly set the stage for a grand conclusion. If, on the other hand, things don't pan out and 'Gauntlet' does turn out to be the bittersweet finale, fans will be thrilled, touched, heartbroken -- and left to wonder what could have been."

Unfortunately I think the latter is what is going to happen.

I really wish Syfy would have given them 10 episodes to close up shop and I don't even like the show.

I told you guys you'd be disappointed by the end of the series. I revealed the end scene to some of you ;)

If the ridiculous story about the security guard were actually true (I'm guessing you're referring to), then I's actually be quite happy with it. As far as cliff hangers go, it could be a hell of a lot worse.

You missed of his little dig at the end.

"And imagine greater."

:rommie:

I've no reason to lie to you guys. I don't watch the show, neither does my friend. I told you guys what he was told.

As someone who has heard Admiral_Young's story of the finale's ending I'll say that it's very plausible, is actually the perfect way to end the season/show, and that it will piss a lot of people off.

I don't question the plausibility of the spoiler itself, only the means by which this info was supposedly obtained. I'd be astounded if the story about a security guard taking their mate on set while the final scenes were filmed were true. I don't think Admiral_Young is lying either by the way, I just suspect someone is bullshitting him.
