The concept just screams it.
I don't agree.
The concept just screams it.
Clearly.Clearly since Spider-Man wasn't getting help from the Avengers, the Fantastic Four decided to step in and Sue's fighting Lizard.
And then after Strange can't stop what's crossing over from crossing over, Magneto, Rogue and Wolverine will end up atop the Statue of Liberty.
The concept just screams it. Plus with the success of the Spider-Verse movie, it just makes sense to try something like that in live action.
Let me stick in a DVD from 2000 to refresh my memory.Magneto, Rogue and Wolverine on top of SoL?
What in the world would they do up there?
I do ignore reality. MCU is not reality, and I don't want all these Spider-men showing up and convoluting an already convoluted property. So, yes, hope will springth eternal for forever and a day. If people can selectively ignore canon then so can II really wonder how the "Toby and Andrew aren't in it" contrarians explain the lizard being hit by nothing (aka an obviously edited out person attacking him) in the trailer. It already makes no sense to think that Alfred Molina, probably Dafoe and Jamie Foxx made it in but Toby and Andrew didn't, but at this point you have to actively want to ignore reality to think that we aren't getting all three Spider-Men for at least one big action scene.
They probably won't be in it enough for me (I'd prefer if they were the main characters, especially over the MCU Spider-Man's supporting cast), but its pretty damn obvious they are going to show up and have more then just a quick visual cameo.
Up until the release of the trailer I was actually leaning towards them not being in it but as soon as I saw the same scaffolding in it that was in the (supposedly fake) photos, that was good enough for me.
This is extremely flimsy justification for believing that Tobey and Andrew show up in the film, especially since it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for the photos in question to have been faked by somebody with access to BtS snapshots.
The concept just screams it. Plus with the success of the Spider-Verse movie, it just makes sense to try something like that in live action.
This may be my favorite line and the movie hasn't even come out yet.And yes, "Please Scooby-Doo this crap."
I'm glad to not be the only one to use Gwen's name as a verb.I'm hoping since they are hinting at Gwen Stacying MJ that that means it won't actually happen.
Sue Storm confirmed!!!!
Or... it could be Venom. In the correct outfit. The reason I say this is that I don't have any reason to discount multiple people denying that Tobey and Andrew are in the film, but t the same time can't come up with a reasonable explanation for a brief shot in this trailer of what appears to be the black-suited Spidey from the Raimiverse films.
